Dear Sophia Sister ~
Thank you for registering for The Sophia Conference. We look forward to being with you on Sunday, December 8, at the Nautilus Room on the Bay: 1845 Strand Way, Coronado, 92118.
We will begin the day with “Sophia Yoga” at 8am in the park adjacent to the Nautilus Room, with the Conference Opening its doors at 9am. Whether you join us for the Morning Yoga or arrive in time for the 9am Conference Opening, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early (either at 7:45 or 8:45) so we can get you registered and orientated.
After we open the Nautilus doors, our Conference program will begin at 9:15. We will have an introductory workshop, joyful movement and play in the morning, and Restorative Yoga in the afternoon. So wear clothing that makes you feel free and comfortable. Please bring a Yoga mat or towel for the Yoga, and something to sit on for the workshops. There will be chairs available, but most of us will sit on the floor. You also might like to bring a notepad for journaling.
We provide lunch – a hearty soup, chunky breads, seasonal salad, dips, crudités, and delightful deserts. We always have filling options for those who are Vegan, and/or GF, and we leave nuts on the side.
There is parking on the street in front of the building and parking lots either side. We invite you to carpool if you know friends who will be joining us. Of course, carpooling is helpful for many reasons – including freeing up a parking space for another Sophia sister.
This year’s event supports The Sophia Camp, so your registration is a donation to our non-profit. We will have receipts available at the Conference. Please ask when you sign in.
We look forward to being with you to “share the Sophia!” Thank you for your support!
